Giant Octopuses and Marine Debris 12 January 2020 – Warrnambool

Description:

Come have fun and learn how to create amazing works of art from marine debris collected off our beaches and repurposed materials under the guidance of local artists Aviators of Wonder.

In this workshop participants will make and build components of a giant octopus, jelly fish and underwater marine life that when combined, create a large scale interactive art installation titled The Night of the Reclaimed Octopus.

The completed work will be on display at the Botanic Gardens, 10-12th January before being transported to the Rainbow Serpent Festival in January 2020.

This Event is suitable for all ages. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

Suitable clothing for the weather conditions – be sun smart
