Explore what's in our oceans and what we can do to help protect them. Learn about rubbish in the oceans and explore the beach through beach-combing and rock-pooling (ocean swell and tide conditions dependent).
This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
Please bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and wear enclosed shoes or surf sandals appropriate for rock-pooling and clothing appropriate for the weather. No shoes no rock-pooling. The closest toilets, drinking water and shops are located in Peterborough.
Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response. Your activity host will be in touch if this is the case.
Please meet the ranger 5 minutes before scheduled in Wild Dog Cove Car park - the first car park on the ocean side as you head west from Peterborough. You can also walk here from Peterborough along the Cliff Top Walk.
