By accepting these terms and conditions, all participants are agreeing to participate in Summer by the Sea activities in a manner that aligns with the Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for coronavirus (COVID-19) including the need for physical distancing, personal protective equipment and good hygiene. For up-to-date health information visit coronavirus.vic.gov.au. Participants are also advised to remain aware of their surroundings at all times while listening to podcasts. Participants must be conscious of Aboriginal Cultural Heritage while participating in Summer by the Sea activities.

Description:

This is a self-guided audio tour (podcast) presented by local published historian, the infamous Don Love (Friends of Beware Reef), and Sajithra Nithi, a podcast producer and communications professional.

Come along and join Don and Sajithra as they go back in time and learn all about the Trinculo and other shipwrecks along the South East Coast and how they met their demise! Hear Don’s inspiring stories about volunteering and getting involved to give back to the local community and pursue your passions while you’re at it!

What to bring

Suitable clothing for the weather conditions – be sun smart.

  • Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat.
  • Bottle of water.
  • Insect repellent.
  • Sturdy shoes.
