Marine Care Ricketts Point present: Foreshore and Rockpool Ramble.
What curious creatures make the rockpools their home? Discover the amazing diversity in our intertidal zone.
With the help of our local guides, explore the treasures left on the sandy shore by the receding tide, followed by a rockpool ramble to search for the unique marine animals that call this rocky intertidal environment home.
A one-hour fifteen minute walk and talk. Terrain: Easy – medium, uneven surfaces, on sand and rock shelves, wet/dry.
Please arrive at 9.45am, ready for a 10am start
This event is suitable for all ages. Children under 14 years of age must be supervised by an accompanying adult.

Bayside beach carpark B18 - head south towards Beaumaris Life Saving Club (blue and yellow building) , Ricketts Point.
Meet on the grass outside the Beaumaris Life Saving Club.
Parking ticket or Bayside Parking Permit required in beach carpark. Alternatively, use free street parking or public transport.
